Refund/Cancellation Policy

Clients may cancel or reschedule appointments with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session may be subject to a cancellation fee. No-shows will be charged the full session fee. Refunds are not issued for completed services.

Fulfillment/Shipping Policy

As my services are provided exclusively online, there is no physical shipping involved. All services, including mental health therapy, consultations, and evaluations, are delivered through secure online platforms. Clients receive electronic confirmation of appointments and evaluation reports through encrypted communication methods.

Terms and Conditions

The Terms and Conditions outline the agreements between clients and my practice, including:

• Client Responsibilities: Clients agree to provide accurate personal and medical history and to engage actively in the therapeutic or evaluation process.

• Confidentiality: All client information is protected under HIPAA regulations. Information shared in sessions remains confidential unless disclosure is required by law (e.g., threats of harm to self or others, abuse reporting mandates, or court orders).

• Informed Consent: Before starting services, clients must review and electronically sign an informed consent form that details the scope of services, potential risks, and their rights as service recipients.

• Session Conduct: Clients must ensure a private, distraction-free environment for telehealth sessions and maintain respectful communication.

• Payment Terms: Payments must be made prior to or at the time of service. Fees for evaluations, therapy sessions, and other services are non-refundable once the session has begun. Clients who fail to make payments on time may have their services discontinued until balances are settled.

• Technology Requirements: Clients are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection, a secure device, and necessary software to engage in telehealth services.

Privacy Policy (Including HIPAA Compliance)

My practice adheres to HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations to ensure the protection of client data and confidentiality. The privacy policy includes:

• Use of Personal Data: Personal data is collected only for the purpose of providing mental health services and evaluations. It is never shared with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

• Data Security: All electronic communications, records, and session notes are stored securely using encrypted, HIPAA-compliant systems. Clients access their records through protected portals when applicable.

• Confidentiality and Information Sharing: No client information will be disclosed without written consent, except when legally mandated. Situations requiring disclosure include imminent danger to self or others, suspected abuse, or court-ordered subpoenas.

• Telehealth Security: All online sessions are conducted using encrypted, HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platforms to protect client privacy.

• Retention and Disposal of Records: Client records are securely retained for the legally required period and then properly disposed of in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.
